چکیده

t: Digital color cameras use a single sensor equipped with a color filter array (CFA) to capture scenes in color. Since each sensor cell can record only one color value, the other two missing components at each position need to be interpolated. The color interpolation process is usually called color demosaicking (CDM). The quality of demosaicked images is degraded due to the sensor noise introduced during the image acquisition process. Many advanced denoising algorithms, which are designed for monochromatic (or full color) images, are not directly applicable to CFA images due to the underlying mosaic structure of CFAs. A well designed deoising scheme can have advantages such as less noise-caused color artifacts and costeffective implementation. In this paper, a comparison of independent component analysis and principal component analysis for denoising single sensor Digital Cameras image is proposed. Simulation result of CFA images shows that independent component analysis provide much better denoising effect and peak signal-noise ratio in terms of both objective measurement and visual evaluation in comparison to principal component analysis(PCA).

W Adaptive Denoising of CFA Images for Image

In single sensor digital color cameras at each pixel it captures only one of the three primary colors so the full color image is obtained by interpolating all other missing color samples at that pixel this process is the color demosaicking process. When we capture the images using digital cameras there is some sensor noise is introduced in image. This type of noise is introduced in all type of ...

The conventional solution to combating CFA sensor noise is demosaicking first, followed by a separate denoising processing. This strategy will generate many noise-caused ...

Multiscale Total Variational Alggorithms for Denoising Natural Color Photos in Digital Photography

As digital photography rapidly replacing the traditional film photography as the photography of choice for all but a few devoted professionals, post image processing of natural color photos such as denoising becomes increasingly an integral part of digital photography. Although many denoising schemes have been designed, almost none specifically target natural color photos. Noise in natural colo...

Determining Digital Image Origin Using Sensor Imperfections

In this paper, we demonstrate that it is possible to use the sensor’s pattern noise for digital camera identification from images. The pattern noise is extracted from the images using a wavelet-based denoising filter. For each camera under investigation, we first determine its reference pattern, which serves as a unique identification fingerprint. This could be done using the process of flat-fi...
